The New NHS Patient Charter
We’ve adopted the new NHS Patient Charter, which outlines:
- What you can expect from us
- How you can support your practice
You can find the Charter on our website under ‘ You and Your General Practice’ in the ‘ How Do I’ tab.

How You Can Support Us
Working together helps us deliver better care. Here’s how you can help:
- Be prepared: Before your appointment, write down your symptoms, concerns, and questions. Please note that appointments are limited to one issue per consultation.
- Be on time: Late arrivals or missed calls affect other patients. If you’re late, your appointment may be rescheduled to avoid delays for others.
- Cancel if needed: If you can’t attend, let us know as soon as possible so we can offer the slot to someone else.
- Use the NHS App or website: You can book or cancel appointments, order repeat prescriptions, and view test results online.
- Turn on notifications: Enable alerts in the NHS App so we can contact you easily. Please check for messages regularly.
- Order repeat medicines on time: Request prescriptions before you run out, and only order what you need.
- Join our Patient Participation Group: Help shape our services by sharing feedback. Visit our website for more information.
