BMA Collective Action
The Partnership recently met to discuss the measures we would take as part of the BMA's recent advice regarding collective action.
Our doctors are in full agreement with the BMA's recent advice regarding safe working limits. To maintain the highest standards of care and patient safety, we will be introducing a cap on the number of patients seen by each doctor per day. This decision is based on evidence that too many appointments can compromise the quality of care provided and increase the risk of burnout among healthcare staff.
We understand this may impact appointment availability, but please rest assured that we are making every effort to provide safe, high-quality care to our patients. If you require urgent medical attention, we will continue to have systems in place to prioritise these cases. This may mean referring you to NHS 111 or the treatment centre.
