Dr Magdy El-Gohary
I graduated from the University of Southampton in 2006 and moved to the Bournemouth and Poole areas where I trained and worked as a GP until August 2014. I also trained in academia alongside my clinical GP training, completing a Masters degree in primary care research, and have been involved with research activity since then. I joined the team at Grove Medical Practice in 2014 before we became the Shirley Health Partnership, and I became a partner here in 2020. My interests include liver disease both in clinical practice and in research, patients with substance addictions, and the promotion of research within GP practices.
I live just outside of Southampton with my young family, and outside of work I try to keep fit, and enjoy reading on almost any subject.
